Bayscape Workshop- Kingsville

October 8, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm

Create a beautiful yard, preserve local waterways, and protect the Chesapeake Bay.

The Gunpowder Valley Conservancy (GVC), a Baltimore County-based land trust and watershed restoration non-profit, is looking for volunteers to help install a Bayscape garden at the Historic Jerusalem Mill Village in Kingsville.  Bayscapes replace lawn with native plants that support wildlife, reduce landscape maintenance, and filter rain water from your yard, driveway, roof, or other hard surfaces.

  • Hands-on gardening opportunity – help add native plants to an almost-finished garden bed
