Bayscape Garden workshop
June 25 @ 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM| Free
Create a beautiful garden, preserve local waterways and protect the Bay.
Bayscape gardens replace lawn with beautiful native plants that support wildlife, reduce maintenance, and filter rain water from hard surfaces before it runs into local waterways. We need YOUR help to create a Children’s Bayscape garden at the Maryland State Game & Fish Protective Association in Perry Hall.
No gardening experience necessary! Perfect for Scout troops and their families. Community service hours available. Learn how to incorporate native plants in your own backyard! Pollinator-themed activities for kids!
What to expect: Dress for yard work (hat, long pants, sneakers/boots, sunscreen) and bring your own water bottle. Garden gloves and tools will be provided. Lunch provided after garden installation
Location: MD State Game & Fish Protective Association, 8735 Honeygo Blvd, Perry Hall, MD 21128
