Bayscape Garden workshop
June 3 @ 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM| Free
Create a beautiful community garden, preserve local waterways and protect the Bay.
Join us for a FREE garden workshop to learn about Bay-Wise landscaping with native plants and then get hands-on experience planting a Bayscape Garden on homeowner association green space.
Bayscapes replace lawn with native plants that support wildlife, reduce maintenance, and filter rain water from your yard, driveway, or other hard surfaces. Bayscapes are planted in areas that will intercept and filter rainwater before it runs off to the creek, the Bay or a storm drain.
Workshop qualifies for community service learning hours.
