Plant trees for cleaner air and water in Baltimore County!
We are looking for student volunteers and adults who care about the Earth, our watershed, and the Chesapeake Bay! Do you like being outside in nature and don’t mind working hard? Join us, and make a difference for future generations.
Community service learning hours available. Perfect for students, Scout troops, religious affiliation groups, corporate volunteer groups, families, singles and neighbors! Children ages 8 years and up must be accompanied by an adult.
More than 28,000 trees have been planted throughout the Gunpowder Watershed by enthusiastic volunteers over the past 28 years, and we need YOUR help to plant even more!
This event is rain or shine.
What to bring: Remember to wear boots, pants, long sleeve shirt, hat, gloves, and bring rain gear and water bottle. Water jug and a light snack will be provided.
Location: 33 Chesterfield Court, Monkton, MD 21111. Take I-83 North to exit 24 at Belfast Road. At end of exit ramp go straight across to Ensor Mill Rd. Turn left onto York Rd (Rt 45). Go less than 1 mile, at flashing light turn right onto Corbett Rd. Pass the middle school on left, and turn right into development at Chesterfield Ct. Go down the hill to house #33 on left. Park along the street.
