Fun Hike with GVC @ Marshy Point- FULL

Let’s get outside and enjoy community through a hike! Celebrate the beauty of the Gunpowder Watershed in good company.

You’re invited to join Gunpowder Valley Conservancy (GVC) for a free hike at Marshy Point Nature Center. This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the outdoors while building community with other GVC volunteers and staff. Minors (ages 8 – 17) are welcome to attend, as long as there is one parent/legal guardian per four children in attendance.

We will be meeting at the nature center and plan to take a 1 – 2 mile hike. The hike will be led by a naturalist from the nature center. Please dress appropriately for the weather. Walking on rough terrain is likely. GVC encourages participants to consult CDC guidelines for determining when to isolate due to COVID exposure.

The hike is free, but donations are welcome. All donations will help support GVC programming.
