Stream Clean Up – Carney
April 23, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Do your part to keep our local waterways clean! Spend a morning removing trash in Carney.
With assistance from over 12,000 volunteers, the Gunpowder Valley Conservancy has removed over 260 tons of trash from streams and creeks in the Gunpowder Watershed. We need YOUR help to continue the task of removing refuse that jeopardizes the health of our waterways and the animals that call them home
Volunteers are needed to clean up a residential area in Carney. This clean-up project is part of Project Clean Stream. We are allowing minors (ages 8 – 17) to participate as long as their parent/legal guardian is present during the event.
