Bay-Wise Project Open House

September 22 @ 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Event Navigation

Drop in to see the beautiful ways we improved water quality for recreation and local wildlife at Baltimore County Game & Fish Protective Association–and learn how you can do the same on your own property!

Stormwater runoff–the rain that flows over roofs, parking lots, and other impervious surfaces–is one of the leading sources of pollution into the Chesapeake Bay. You’re invited to attend our Bay-Wise Project Open House to learn how YOU can reduce pollution, beautify your yard, and solve local flooding issues on your property.

View examples of:

  • rain barrels
  • a Bayscape Garden
  • a rain garden
  • native tree plantings
  • Bay-Wise Certified landscape

Light refreshments will be provided.

Don’t miss the chance to also learn more about the Baltimore County Game and Fish Protective Association.

Live in Glen Arm, Carney, Perry Hall, White Marsh, Nottingham, or Middle River? Talk to a Clear Creeks Project staff member at the open house about how you might be eligible to receive a 50-80% discount on rain barrels, Bayscape gardens, and rain gardens. The same discount applies to local organizations and businesses!

This is a drop-in event but we’re asking people to RSVP below so we know how many people to expect. Thank you!
