Flotilla for the Gunpowder River

Join fellow water enthusiasts to show your support for the future of the Gunpowder River.
Whether by kayak, paddleboard, or boat, let’s make a statement for clean water and healthy ecosystems! The 1st Annual Flotilla for the Gunpowder River will be held on Saturday, April 26 from 10 am – 12 pm at Mariner Point Park. Participants can also choose to join the celebration on land.

The Gunpowder Riverkeeper is a “Passport Partner” for Gunpowder Valley Conservancy’s Explore the Gunpowder Watershed Challenge. If you can’t make the Flotilla, make sure to visit their headquarters at Sparks Nature Center to learn more.
This event is part of Gunpowder Valley Conservancy’s Explore the Gunpowder Watershed Challenge. You will receive a sticker to add to your Gunpowder Passport. Collect 4 stickers to earn a commemorative t-shirt AND a chance to win our grand prize: a full day paddleboarding or kayaking experience for two from Ultimate Watersports!
