Project Clean Stream: North Point State Park
April 3 @ 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Note: Participants are expected to wear face masks during this event. The event will be held outdoors and adhere to our COVID-19 social distancing policy.
Do your part to keep our local waterways clean! Spend a morning removing trash along the shores of the Chesapeake Bay.
With assistance from over 10,000 volunteers, the Gunpowder Valley Conservancy has removed over 240 tons of trash from streams and creeks in the Gunpowder watershed. We need YOUR help to continue the task of removing refuse that jeopardizes the health of our waterways and the animals that call them home.
Volunteers are needed to clean a section of North Point State Park. This clean-up project is part of the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay’s Project Clean Stream campaign. We are allowing minors (ages 8 – 17) to participate as long as their parent/legal guardian is present during the event.
Date: Saturday, April 3, 2021
