A rain garden is a special, water loving garden that helps soak up rain water from your roof or driveway.  It is designed to capture water from a 1” rain storm and slowly infiltrate it back into the ground. By using beautiful, native flowers, grasses and even trees, a rain garden will beautify your yard while reducing stormwater impacts.  It also provides habitat for wildlife, beneficial insects, such as ladybugs, and pollinators like butterflies.

No gardening experience necessary! A maximum of 15 people, including the homeowner and our staff, will be allowed to participate in this event. We are allowing minors (ages 8 – 17) to attend our events as long as there is one parent/legal guardian per two children.
