Community Stream Clean Up

Celebrate Earth Day with Action! Help us prevent trash from entering the Chesapeake Bay! 
Our local waterways, from a neighborhood stream to our drinking water reservoirs, are at risk from trash buildup. Anything that flows into storm drains goes directly into the closest waterway unfiltered. Join Gunpowder Valley Conservancy (GVC) for an organized stream clean-up to remove trash from around a community park and stream in Middle River.
Join us on Saturday April 26, from 12 PM – 2 PM.
Location: 760 Maple Crest Dr, Middle River, MD 21220
Directions: Street Parking is available on Maple Crest Drive.
What to wear/bring: Sturdy, close-toed shoes and long pants are mandatory. Bring a pair of grabber tongs if you have them. Bring sun protection and/or rain gear as appropriate, and a water bottle.
This event is rain or shine.
