Plant trees for cleaner air and water in Baltimore County!
We are looking for student volunteers and adults who care about the Earth, our watershed, and the Chesapeake Bay! Do you like being outside in nature and don’t mind working hard? Join us, and make a difference for future generations. We will be planting 125 native trees on 2 acres within an aging white pine forest that is dying. Your efforts will help restore a native hardwood forest directly within the Loch Raven Reservoir to improve the quality of our drinking water.
Community service learning hours available. Perfect for students, Scout troops, religious affiliation groups, corporate volunteer groups, families, individuals, and neighbors! Children ages 8 years and up must be accompanied by an adult.
More than 31,000 trees have been planted throughout the Gunpowder Watershed by enthusiastic volunteers over the past 30 years, and we need YOUR help to plant even more!
