Plant trees for cleaner air and water in Baltimore County!

More than 32,000 trees have been planted throughout the Gunpowder Watershed by enthusiastic volunteers over the past 31 years, and we need YOUR help to plant even more! We are looking for volunteers to plant 100 trees on 1 acre.  This is a wonderful opportunity to restore a stream buffer and expand native forest and local wildlife habitat at the historic Jerusalem Mill section of Gunpowder Falls State Park. Do you like being outside in nature and don’t mind working hard?  Join us, and make a difference for

A maximum of 25 people, including GVC staff and volunteer leaders, will be allowed to participate in this event. We are allowing minors (ages 8 – 17) to attend our events as long as there is one parent/legal guardian per two children in attendance. Adults must sign COVID-19 waiver form.

Date: Saturday, May 8, 2021 (10 am – 1 pm). Please arrive by 9:45 am to sign in. This event is rain or shine.

Location: Jerusalem Mill, 2813 Jerusalem Road, Kingsville, MD 21087.
