On June 15th, close to 70 people representing 40+ organizations got together to articulate our shared vision for the Gunpowder Watershed and begin making plans for collaborative action for clean water.
Highlights included:
- Sneak peek at the next generation of watershed plans (Baltimore County Department of Environmental Protection and Sustainability)
- Keynote speech on integrating climate change into water quality efforts (Jenn Aiosa, Baltimore County Chief Sustainability Officer)
- Lightning round presentations about current projects in the Gunpowder
- Interactive workshops designed to identify strategies and barriers to achieving clean water in the Gunpowder
