The Gunpowder Watershed stretches across two states and four counties. It includes landscapes that are rural, agricultural, suburban, urban, AND coastal. It is the true unifier of us all — supporting a wide variety of people, plants, animals, insects, fungi…the list goes on and on!
Together, like our watershed of rivers and tributaries feeding into the Chesapeake Bay, we can safeguard all that makes the Gunpowder one-of-a-kind. The Gunpowder Valley Conservancy (GVC) is both a land trust and watershed restoration nonprofit. GVC relies on individual donations to reach our goal of raising $60,000 before the end of the year.
